Pricing Guide

Recently I've had an interest in ordering prints. So I've decide to add it as a new option. Each order is processed through a pro-lab which provides high quality prints. Order must be paid in FULL before it can be placed. From there it can take up to 5 business days depending on order size, order content, and when order is placed. Below will be a guild based on some basic sizes. I can add more sizes if the need arises.

Pricing list:
3x5: 0.96¢
4x6:  $2.88
5x7: $5.76
8x10: $7.50
11x14: $13.50
Down the road I will be adding several different types of books, canvas, wood prints, and a few other products. If you are interested in this NOW I can work up a list for that as well, but for now they won't be up so just ask.

*Prices can change based on shipping rates.

Pricing breakdown & business.

So sometime around 2-3am I had the sudden NEED to change and update my current packages & the prices associated with them. Times have changed and it's about time I make an actual change too.
As of now a basic package is $70.00.

This includes:
1-2hr of shooting time if weather permits.
2 locations of choice. (Up to 20mins away, locations reaching past that will be charged extra)
2 outfit changes.
4 people max (every person over 4 will add $10)
15 fully edited pictures in high resolution.
Password protected gallery.
CD or Thumb drive (each item is purchased separately from package)
Print Release.

Why only 15 images? Because it gives me a faster turnout as well as the ability to take my time on each individual image to provide a quality, well edited, gallery. The projected turnout of each session is about a week, to a week and a half. Times can & will change, but I will update the client if any changes may effect the turn out date. Print release MUST be signed before CD or Thumb drive can be handed over.

I'm keep this as the main package as it should accommodate most everyone's needs. If a session requires more then I will discuss this personally with the client to better help them with what they will need. :)

Busy week!

So, for those of you whom don't know me in my personal life I've started a workout class on Saturday mornings. Now, I'm not MUCH of a work out person nor do I enjoy doing something that might make me super sore the next day. I'm more of a....I'll just try to eat healthier type of person. Which doesn't always do me well since I tend to crack and eat more crap food. But over the Winter I've gained a few unwanted pounds, but who doesn't? So I've started this class called, "Six Weeks To Sexy" I've taken one class so far & I am ABSOLUTELY bruised to hell. It's a pole dancing workout class (Not to be mistaken with stripping or anything crazy) where you use the pole to work out your entire body from top to bottom while wearing heels. It will without a doubt WHOOP YOUR BUTT, as it has mine. I have bruises from my toes to my shoulders and everywhere in between. I'm so sore and my skin is burned on my thighs but I have to say I LOVED the class. I'm a VERY clumsy person and trip over anything, HECK I sprained my toe a few months back just by accidentally running into a chair. Tomorrow we're taking an extra free class to help strengthen our bodies and work out the parts we'll need the most. As all 3 of us clearly need it! It all sounds awful when I say I'm taking pole dancing classes but it's nothing like you might imagine. It's just a room of 12 girls clumsily trying to swing around in outrageously high heels. Where you walk out with a few less nails, skin burned on your hands, arms, & legs and jello legs. I'm anxious to see how these next few weeks will go & if I'll be able to at least tone a few of my more squishy areas.
I do realize this is also NOT a post about photography but I figured I would give some insight about what I do away from the camera. I don't always take crazy work out classes but at this particular time I am. Next week I am doing a rather large shoot for a friend & her family before her husband deploys to Afghanistan.  We've already scouted areas (found some great finds!), came up with a color scheme, some pose ideas, & the general feel she wants. I absolutely LOVE helping with all the little details in a shoot from the colors, clothes, areas, feel, poses, and even down to accessories and makeup. I can't help but want to be apart of it all! Thankfully she enjoys me helping since it's also a great excuse for us to hang out haha. After all she's my best friend! Awh crap, I've rambled on so I might as well leave this post before it becomes a book. I hope you enjoyed my little insight even if it was an odd one. :) I also suggest you try this class out once because you'll work muscles your forgot or never knew you had!
Hope you have a great Sunday, Melissa <3

Current Favorites of Feb.

Well, Hello.

Alright, not going to lie. I hate talking about myself and hate even more so to put it down in a blog. So I'll keep this short & start posting the CRAP out of some of my work. I currently rock a Canon Rebel XS with a 50mm 1.8 prime lens. My baby is 4+ years old but I love the crap out of it and maybe one day I'll decide to upgrade but until then I'll be using this one until she decides to fall apart in my hands. I'm also a natural light photographer in the sense that I use the sun as my flash. I also tend to consider myself a lifestyle photographer since I like the less posed, less perfect side of photography but do dapple in the posed type.I've been working with photography for only a year and a half but like to say that I've made great progress since my very first shoot. I have started to go to school to in hopes to help my learning & gain my certification in Professional Photography. But as I've said before I'll keep this sweet & simple and let my art do the talking.
